November 17th Not a Normal Run of the Day

Saturday, November 17th started out as a "busy" Saturday. Ry went hunting. Parker had the Turkey Trot, a party at 3 and our last official girls night out dinner since Baby Charlie would be here Monday. I enlisted poor Uncle Jon into helping me with Parker for the Turkey Trot. However, before that we went out to breakfast and goofed off. Parker obviously wore herself out because when Uncle Jon went to go put her down to race she wouldn't let him go...she curle those little legs aroud his waist and held on for dear life around his neck. So much for running and winning a turkey.

That adventure down, we headed home and Park feel asleep in the car on her way from the park to the house. It wasn't even a ten minute drive. Park and Uncle Jon hung out for a few on the couch. After he left Parker crashed hard. She slept until 2:15.

On our way out to the party I started having contractions. All my contractions were ten minutes apart and since I wasn't even sure if they were contractions I enlisted Victoria's expertise! I never experience contractions with Parker so I wasn't sure if they were Braxton Hicks or the real thing. And I didn't want to be one of those people to show up at the hospital to just be told to leave.

After we left the Schwartz home around six Parker decided she'd like chicken nuggets. My contractions weren't getting worse so I figured we were safe! Wanting to enjoy our last meal together we went out to Country Cousins. While there my contractions of course got worse. They were about six minutes apart. I sent a text to KiKi asking her to keep her phone on and by her, but not to worry. But as I pulled into my driveway the always reliable KiKi was right on my heels. Of course Ry was hunting with Papa and I couldn't get a hold of him. With a swift phone to call to Uncle Jon, who was up quickly I was on my way.

Once at the hospital I guess I thought the process would be fast and they would get me into surgery pronto since I was scheduled for a c-section Monday, that was not the case. There was a debate (argument) on if stopping my contractions was possible, apparently not. I don't know what time Ry showed up, but I do know it wasn't more than ten minutes before they had me walk into the surgical room. Boy, was he lucky!

11:23 PM Charlie Anne was born. She weighed 6lbs and 4ounces. She has blonde hair, just not anywhere as close to white blonde as Parkers. She came into our worlds different than Parker, which I am hoping isn't a sign of how stubborn she might be. She choose her birthdate, no one was going to choose it for her.

First encounter; welcome baby Charlie.

1 Day Old...

Parker wasn't wanting to touch her. I think it was weird not seeing her feet or hands.

Charlie and Aidan. Oh, how close they will be :)

All cozy and ready to go home.

Happy Halloween

End of October, Really!!!
With two weeks to go I feel like my alone time with Parker is priceless. We have had one busy October with a Halloween Party every weekend!!! I love Halloween, so I am okay with this. Parker loves Halloween so she is okay with this. The Husband...well he needs a beer to be somewhat okay with this :)

The Pumpkin Patch with all of our friends was a blast. As the kids get older, we (the parents) begin to wonder what poor Kindergarten teacher is going to get sacked with all of our children. They are lucky to have such a wonderful group of kids to grow up with, but I know they will be a handful. And by the looks of it the second round will be just as close in age as the first group.

Swinging at the Patch.

Syd dancing to her Tinker Bell jingling shoes. This was too cute

Tyler and Leah's Halloween Party!!!

Parker was so excited to go see Leah and Tyler for their Halloween Party. It was a super fun arty. The kids got to make crafts, take pictures with friends and family, hit a pumpkin pinata, eat a lot of food, and so much more!!!

Pinata hitting. Who says you have to hold the bat the other way????

Time to Carve our Pumpkins

KiKi came over to carve pumpkins with us! It was so different than last year. Last year she was excited to dive on in and help take out the insides...this year she as pretty  hesitant on touching the "gooey" stuff, as she kept calling it. The only thing we could get her to touch were the sees and that was as long as they weren't touching too much goo.
KiKi getting ready to dive on into the "gooey stuff".

See how she is really looking at the seeds. She was so specific about not touching the guts.

This is one of the only pictures where she shoved her hand into the whole pumpkin

Apparently her Pumpkins were hungry for her dinner....pizza and her new cup
Parker and Carson. This may have just become a brand new tradition. I love this picture
Pumpkin Nose Picking......

I totally love this picture. Parker got old man glasses from Jeepin Grandma and Papa Mohan. They were her favorite gift in the box of halloween items.

Not only did we have a great Halloween spent with family and friends all of October, but it is so much fun to see how much she changes each year. Last year we didn't even make it past seven pm. This year she made it a little longer and was full of energy at the thought of playing with everyone at all the houses we stopped by. She enjoyed playing with Grandpa Frank (running and hidding behind dad). Playing hide and seek wtih Gammy and all the stuff animals. Using her glow stick at KiKi's house. Handing out candy at Tiki's house. That was the hardest place to get her to leave, Tiki's. Who would have thought a two year old would rather hand out candy than go trick or treating!!!!
