Parker's Trip to the Canal...Water sure was Warm, Riding on the Quad...

When we went to the canal for a family birthday party, Parker was obviously went right for the water. All "hellos" and "high-fives" were placed on hold, this two year old had one thing in on her mind "Throwing Rocks into the Water". Once we made it down to the water I knew that it would take a long time to drag her away from the water so I got cozy and was ready for the long haul.

We made it to the waist until the seaweed floated around us. She was so mad it was hilarius

Parker stealing cake and then getting it smashed in her face :) Love it

Uncle Jon smashed cake into Parker's face...hence, she was trying to sneek his cake so she did deserve it :)

 Getting Charlie's Room Ready

When Ryan and I found out we were having another girl we were excited first that we didn't get rid of any of Parker's clothes :) and second that Parker was going to have a sister to play with!! It was an honor to be able to name our baby after his late father. So with the down count coming Parker and I decided what to decorate with. I wanted to do Owls since I wasn't so amazing with Parker's room and Parker wanted polka dots. So we did both. It was fun decorating with Parker, I think it makes her more excited about Charlie; although I know she doens't get that this kid is not leaving once she comes here.

Parker had so much fun adding the polka dots to the wall. Somehow they ended up on her room wall too

Missing her letters for her name. Parker picked out the paper this afternoon so now waiting on mom.

Family Time at the Farm

Family Fun at the Gordon Farm

Back in May I bought a family photo session by a local photographer; Mandi McDougall. I was totally excited to purchase these and have a family portrait session since we have never had one.....unless our wedding photos count.?!?! We took our growing family down to the family farm and had an hour (or a little more) of fun. I was nervous that we weren't going to be able to do our photo session since it kept raining off and on all day, but when the time for pictures arrived it was nice. Mandi did such a wonderful job being patient and humorous with our two year old. Parker was Parker, or a normal two year old when parents want to have their family pictures taken. I have just two pictures of what our session has produced for us and how amazing Mandi did. I am so excited on Wednesday to go look over our pictures and see what fantastic work she has done.

Love how this photo looks. Great capture :)
Where are we driving too ladies???

I love the use of our old hay truck. Classic
I like the use of the side of our barn
She looks like she is telling me a secret.
Good job here Mandi, since Parker realized it is faster to pull it apart then blow on them :)
Probably my favorite only because of Parker's face expression

Look at those eyes! What a great capture Mandi did.

Best way to end our photo shoot.

Wednesday I went down to Mandi McDougall's photography studio to look over our session. I had received emails and text messages about our facebook photos and how cute they were, so I was even more excited to look. I learned the biggest downfall of having professional photos taken is CHOOSING pictures. That was extremely hard to do. I would have bought a CD of all our photos, if Charlie wasn't going to be having some photo sessions in three months. Enjoy our family and admire the amazing work of Mandi McDougall, who is in Centralia on Pearl Street.
